GEVISPACE has been designed as a long stall enabling each sow to have its own individual space for feeding and thereby avoiding competition at the trough. Thanks to this type of stall, the stress of sows can be reduced as they feel more secured having their own space and beign sure they get their portion of feed.
The gestation room must be considered as important as the farrowing room because if the sows are feeling secured and well-fed, their state of health will improve, just like the quantity and quality of their colostrum. It will also have an impact on their behaviour during gestation and farrowing.
The GEVISPACE gateway, coupled with the long stall, allows you to isolate one or more sows according to your needs.
